Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
  • The text is in 1,15 space; uses a 11-point Calibri font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed after the text, at the end.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.

Author Guidelines

AUTHOR GUIDELINES

Manuscripts for publication in the Jurnal Ilmiah Medicamento are articles on research results in the field of Pharmacy (according to the focus and scope of which can be seen in About the Journal) in good and correct Indonesian and English. Manuscripts have not been published in other magazines or journals and must have the appropriate format. Authors are asked to submit the original manuscript, by directly submitting the article on the submission link that is already available on the OJS Web of the Jurnal Ilmiah Medicamento. The author is obliged to check the existence and convenience of the document to be opened on another computer. The manuscript is typed in 1.15 spaces (except for the Title section and the author's name is written in 1 space) on A4 size paper with 11-point font Calibri. The text margins are 2 cm from the top, bottom, right, and left. Abstracts must be presented in two languages, namely Indonesian and English which are typed in one column, followed by the Introduction and so on which are typed in two columns. For the original article, it should be no more than 3000 words (for the main text, from Abstract till Conclusion), and for the review article it should be no more than 4000 words. Please access this Template in MS Word. Put pictures and tables at the end of the manuscript after the Bibliography section (in the Appendix section), and no more than 4-5 tables and figures. Manuscripts are presented in the following order:

1. Title (in two languages ​​and one column)

2. Abstract (in two languages and one column)

3. Introduction (Indonesian language and start to be typed in two columns)

4. Research Method

5. Results and Discussion

6. Conclusions

7. Acknowledgments (if necessary)

8. References

 

Publication fee

There is no charge for publication in Jurnal Ilmiah Medicamento.

Submission and Process Fee

There is no charge for submission and processing of articles in Jurnal Ilmiah Medicamento.
