<p><em>So far, research on the subak cultural landscape has been carried out, but there are no studies that examine environmental concerns about the subak cultural landscape of students of Islamic Junior High School (MTs) and Islamic Senior High School (MA) 45 Gianyar. Madrasah are schools whose curriculum contains lessons about Islam. This research is a survey research conducted in March - May. The purpose of the study was to compare the environmental concerns of MTs and MA 45 students in Gianyar. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling method with a sample of 45 people (25 women and 20 men). The data collected in this study is quantitative data using questionnaires that have been tested for validity and reliability in their statements and questions using a Likert scale. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistical techniques in the form of frequency distribution tables and histograms, and inferential using the Mean Whitney U-Test test. The results of this study indicate that the level of education has a significant effect on the results of subak cultural landscape environmental care with the results (p = 0.05). The conclusion of this study is that there are differences in the results of environmental concern for the subak cultural landscape between MTs and 45 MA Gianyar students.</em></p>MuliawatiDewa Ayu PuspawatiSang Putu Kaler Surata

<p><em>Current phenomena indicate that the biology learning process has used several types of existing learning models, but in the implementation it has not shown the students' activeness in optimizing their basic potential in understanding the concept of biology, as a result the students' absorptive power is still low so that students' biology learning outcomes are not optimal. The Aronson jigsaw cooperative learning model is a learning model that emphasizes active and responsible learning in the learning process. The main objective in this study was to improve the learning outcomes of biology students of class XI MIA SMA (SLUA) Saraswati 1 Denpasar academic year 2017/2018. The type of research used is preexperimental design. The study was conducted from April 4 to May 7 involving 45 students.</em></p> <p><em>The data collected in this study in the form of qualitative data were collected using 30 objective test questions consisting of 4 aspects, namely understanding, applying, analyzing, and evaluating. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistical techniques and inferential data by using Kolmogrov-Smirnov Test statistics to test its normality, using Leven's statistics Test of Quality of Error Variance to test homogeneity and then using paired t test to test the learning hypothesis. The results of testing hypotheses using paired t-test known jigsaw type of cooperative learning model affects the results of student biology learning with the acquisition of sig values (p = 0.000 <0.05). <p><em>Education is one of the needs that must be fulfilled by every human being. However, Indonesia's education level is still low. This is evidenced by the results of literacy Program for International Student Assessment (PISA) 2015 which was just released December 6, 2016 in Jakarta by the Ministry of Education and Culture. From the data obtained by PISA, Indonesia is in the 63rd position of 69 Countries (Mohammad, 2016). In addition, when passing a field experience program in class VIII SMP Negeri 12 Denpasar the way that teachers do difficult to apply when the learners themselves do not have the will to learn. According to science teacher of class VIII in SMP Negeri 12 Denpasar, student learning outcomes in the last year still exist under the expected KKM. (Presscom). Based on the description, in this study applied Think Pair Share (TPS) learning model combined with Mind Mapping media. This study aims to improve learning outcomes of learners. The type of research used is Quasi Exsperimental Design using the Nonequivalent Control Group Design research design. This research was conducted in February-May 2018, at SMP Negeri 12 Denpasar academic year 2017/2018. The data collection technique used is by giving test result of learning result in the form of multiple choice questions given in pretest and posttest in experiment class and control class. Data analysis technique using nonparametric with Mann whaitney test U Test. Based on the analysis of data obtained there are learning results show that student learning outcomes in the experimental class has increased. Whereas in the control class the average score of pretest students 50,250 and posttest 71.650 which increase only 43% while in the experimental class before the TPS learning with media Mind mapping the average value of pretest students 46.875 and final score posttes showed the average value 73,300 with a 56% higher increase than the control class</em></p>Maria Celina MonI Made DiartaNi Wayan Ekayanti

<p><em>The diversity of flora and fauna makes Subak Pulagan has the potential to be developed into an educational tourism area, which is a tour that provides an enjoyable experience of studying the diversity of birds in natural habitats. But so far there is no guidebook on outdoor learning, especially in Subak Pulagan. So a guideline product was designed with the aim of developing a guidebook and testing a bird observation manual. The research subjects consisted of validators, students, heads of staff, teachers and students. This research was conducted on 10 April-30 July 2018, in Subak Pulagan, Gianyar. This handbook was developed with the 4D stages of defining: conducting interviews with the tutor teacher and the head of Pekaseh, the design of the initial product design. Develop is validated by a team of validators and students by using an open questionnaire and the diseminate stage analyzes student assessments of products using a closed questionnaire. Furthermore, the data obtained were analyzed using the Mann Whitney U Test. The development of 4D produced a Guidebook product with a description of an activity called "Bird Watching Education Tour in Subak Pulagan". As for the results of the 4D stage, namely: Define obtained the results of not available guide book for bird observation in Subak Pulagan. Design obtained a simple product design with the topic "green birdwaching education tour guide book and twitter". Develop, the results of the validation of each validator give a good rating. <p><em>Education is important in improving human resources. Therefore, it is necessary to do thoroughly from the congenial aspect and effective lack of interest in student learning, is a worrying problem, because without the interest of learning then the learning will not be effective. In this case the task of the teacher is to design the learning that increases student interest in learning. Based on the background, the following problems are formulated: Is the application of Couptive Model of Think Pairs Share (TPS) based on concept map having an effect on students' learning interest ?. The main purpose of this research is to know the influence of Think Pairs Share ) based on concept maps on students' learning interest in science ''. The design of this study is a Nonequevalent pretest-posttest control group design study conducted at SMK (SLUB) saraswati 1 denpasar which took place in February until April 2018 obtained a sample consisting of class VII ^ C as an experimental class of 38 people and class VII ^ D as a control class of 38 people. To collect data of student learning interest using questionnaire interest learners learn. The results showed that students' interest in learning. Based on the results of research and discussion can be concluded that the application of TPS-based learning model concept map is very influential in improving student learning interest. Where the students 'learning interest in the experimental class shows that the students' pretest results show the average score on the experimental class (4456) and the average score control class (4379). The process of learning is only by way of lectures and discussions only so that learners become less active in developing the care of learners to the environment. To overcome these problems it is necessary that learning strategies can improve to increase awareness of students in the environment, with cooperative learning Group-based Investigation media photovoice. The purpose of this research is to increase the awareness of learners to the environment through the Group Investigation learning model with the media photovoice on environmental pollution material in SMA N 8 Denpasar. The type of this research is Quasi Experimental Design prettest-posttest with the design of Intact Group Comparison .. Sampling is done randomly by using the lottery so that obtained two classes experiment and control class. Data collection by using photovoice assessment rubric and questionnaire of concern of students of photovoice result assessment. <p><em>The purpose of this study was to determine the effect the implementation of learning model Problem Based Learning (PBL) through poster media lab results on the behavior of students and student groups poster practicum student outcomes. Quasi-experimental research design using a design with a comparison group design intact. The study population was all students of class VII semester SMP (SLUB) Saraswati 1 Denpasar academic year 2014/2015. Samples are VIIE grade students as a control group and grade students VIIG as the experimental group. Data collection techniques and behavioral skills group posters results using a rubric. The results showed that the application of PBL through posters lab results have real impact on the behavior of students in groups, with the results of Mann Whitney Test (Z = -5.422; P = 0.000 <0.05), which states there is a real difference between the experimental class and control class. And the application of PBL Through posters media lab results are also significantly influenced the results of a poster with the results Utest Mann Whitney test (Z = -2.887; P = 0.004 <0.05). Behavioral models make use of PBL student groups and practicum Poster better results in the experimental class in comparison with the control class. <p><em>Critical thinking ability is an ability possessed by humans to think based on konowledge that is owned and can be accounted for. In measuring this critical thinking ability one of the characteristics that can be used is the cognitive style of students. Besides cognitive style, google classroom is also used as a learning media. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of applying the google classroom based problem based learning model on critical thinking skill in the terms of student’s cognitive style. The study design used quasy exprimentasl design using the pretest-posttest nonequivalent control group design study design. The research was conducted at SMAN 5 Denpasar. The population in this study were all student of class Xl SMAN 5 Denpasar. The sample in the study was taken using simple random sampling technique. Data collection technique in this study wereusing essay test questions and cognitive style questionnaires. The result of the test question of the test question using a computer test equipment, namely SPSS, using a Two Way Anova measuring instrument. The result of the study that 1) there is a difference in the value of critical thinking skills based on the learning model used with a significant level P=0.000<0.05, 2) there is the influence of students cognitive skills with a significant level of value P=0.002><0.005, 3) there is no interaction between cognitive style and learning models on critical thinking skill with a significant level of value P=0.123>0,05. The use of google classroom based problem based learning model on critical thinking skills in terms of students cognitive style has increased after the application of treatment, and the students cognitive style influence student critical thinking skills. <p><em>Social skills between students and students or with teachers have not been felt. In addition, students prefer passivity if grouped in a group, most students choose to work alone, and solve problems with friends. To overcome these problems, one of the appropriate learning models applied is a joint head numbered learning model combined with mind mapping can improve the group or collaborative skills needed by students. The purpose of this research is a learning model of cooperative learning with head number along with mind mapping media on social skills and learning outcomes of Saraswati 1 Denpasar high school students and to look for learning between social skills and learning outcomes. This type of research is quasi-experimental research design with Pretest-Posttes Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The research was carried out at Saraswati 1 Denpasar Senior High School (SLUA) starting from February-May 2019. The sample of this research was students of class XI MIA 1 with a total of 26 students and class XI MIA 2 with a total of 26 students. The independent variable of this study is the head numbered learning model together with mind mapping media and the learning variable of this study is social skills and student learning outcomes then seek guidance of social skills with learning outcomes. Data collection uses social training rubrics and multiple choice tests to measure student learning outcomes. The results of this study indicate that social learning increases (Z = 1,664, P = 0.008) and student learning outcomes also increase (Z = 2.635, P = 0,000). The results of this study have not shown the results of research between social learning and learning outcomes (P = 0.705). <p><em>Misconception can be happened in various kinds of academician level. Biology student teacher also can have misconception problem. This situation needs concern, because student teacher plays important role to teach the correct concept while become a teacher.</em></p> <p><em>This study aimed at describing the misconception of student in Biology Education Department at Ganesh University of Education that located in Singaraja, on photosynthesis and plant respiration subject. The aim of this research operationally was to describe: (1) student misconception, (2) the cause of student misconception in photosynthesis and plant respiration concepts.</em></p> <p><em>This study is a qualitative research conducted at Biology Education Department by involving some informants which consisted of 24 students from the B class of sixth semester. The study used observation, interview and study documentation as the methods of data collection and the implementation adapted to the needs and condition in the field to ascertain more accurate data from the supporting sources.</em></p> <p><em>The results were as follow: (1) the student misconception profile was varied, on the misconception average 47,36%, (2) the cause of student misconception was dominantly come from themselves, on the average 96,80% and form the book on the average 3,20%. The general conclusion of this study was that, the misconception profile of student from the B class of sixth semester in Biology Education Department at Ganesh University of Education about photosynthesis and plant respiration was varied. This proved that student had many conceptions about a concept, although the subject has been learned. The average of student misconception was 47,36%. The cause was dominantly come from themselves. It is suggested and recommended the student to improve their concept understanding in order to eliminate their misconception. The effort that can be used by the student, e. g. make discussions, study regularly, and make assignment from the lecturer seriously to change student misconception become scientific conception.</em></p>Gusti Ayu Dewi Setiawati
